What Do I Do if YOU ARE Worried About a Child?
If you become concerned about something you have seen at nursery or something a child says to you, you must inform one of the Designated Safeguarding Leads who will take appropriate action.
OPERATION ENCOMPASS
As part of our commitment to keeping children safe, we are proud to be part of Operation Encompass.
Operation Encompass is a Police and Education early intervention safeguarding partnership, which supports children and young people exposed to domestic abuse.
Being part of this project means our nursery will receive a notification from Greater Manchester Police before the start of the next school day when a child has been involved in or exposed to a domestic abuse incident the previous day. When incidents occur on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, the Police will contact on the following Monday.
